We open our gifts on Christmas eve morning because until last year we were always gone on Christmas morning . We would go to my mom and dad's on Christmas eve night and then from there we would go to Tommy's mom and dad's spend the night and have Christmas day there so the only time to open gifts was Christmas eve morning so last year we decided that the kids were getting older and we wanted to start spending Christmas at home but we kept the tradition of Christmas eve morning
